This image was generated by using the following prompt:
Prompt: smiling handsome man wearing a suit and tie with sunglasses, portrait photo.
Negative prompt: (worst quality, low quality, normal quality:1.8).
This image was generated by using the following prompt:
Prompt: A piece of A4 paper with two lightly visible wrinkles across the paper, top down view, fills the camera.
Negative prompt: (worst quality, low quality, normal quality:1.8).
The background was removed in Stable Diffusion, by using an extension called [stable-diffusion-webui-rembg]. I have saved both images, so I can have a floating paper effect with two layers.
Let’s desaturate the image.
Go to [Filter -> Start G’MIC-Qt -> Artistic -> Colored Pencils].
Copy and paste the character image to the paper image. [Control + Click] the second layer that has the paper image with removed background, and press [Control + Shift + I] to invert the selection. Select the character image and press [Delete] to remove the selected edges.
It should look like this.
Change the character layer’s blend mode to [Multiply] and lower its opacity a bit.
This is the end of the tutorial. 🙂
