The background was removed by using an extension called [stable-diffusion-webui-rembg].
- Open the image with no background in Krita. Press [Control + A] to select all, and press [Control +C] to copy.
- Open the city image in Krita. [Control + V] to paste the no background image.
- Right click the city layer, and duplicate the layer.
- Place the duplicated layer on the top of the layers list.
- Right click the duplicated city layer, and go to [Add -> Add Transparency Mask].
Select the [Foreground to Transparent] gradient. Select the gradient fill as shown in the screenshot.
Click the middle of the screen and drag to the right bottom side of the screen and release. The result should look like above.
